Come join me for a 3-hour VIRTUAL and INTERACTIVE calligraphy class in the comfort of your own home, comfy sweatpants, and your favorite beverage! Beginners and lefties welcome. No experience necessary

This live class is great for people who want to learn modern calligraphy and are having trouble completing self-paced online courses (we've all been there, myself included!). Although, if you would like a self-paced online course, check out my online shop where you can purchase a starter kit as well! 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

• the basics of pointed pen calligraphy (correct hand position, pressure, and ink flow, warm-up drills, troubleshooting, etc.)
• what supplies you need and how to set them up
• lowercase AND uppercase alphabet
• numbers and letter connections
• class project: how to write on a place card

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

• a 3-hour live and interactive session with two camera angles (overhead and side view)
• an intimate class setting with no more than 6 students per session (just like my in-person workshops)
• digital guides, resources booklet & printable workbook (sent via email a few days before the class)
• 1 on 1 follow up session (15-minute long, can be scheduled anytime within 6 months after class)

To make the experience as close as my in-person workshop, you are encouraged to ask questions at any point in the class. So, rather than just watching a video, you can ask for feedback or ask me to redo certain letters that you're having trouble with

I provide two kit options to choose from: 

• Basic Kit (the bare necessities you need to start doing calligraphy) 
• Premium Kit (includes everything in the Basic Kit + additional supplies. Great if you like options and want to explore the different tools)

Find the calligraphy kits under SHOP on my website. Please purchase the kit as soon as you can (possibly within 24 hours after registering to make sure the kit arrives before the class)

If you plan on purchasing the supplies yourself, here is a list of supplies needed for the class:

- practice paper (Rhodia dot pad or grid pad)

- pen holder of choice (Speedball oblique/straight)

- calligraphy ink (black sumi ink: Moon Palace, Yasutomo, or Kaimei brand)

- calligraphy nib (Zebra G or Nikko G)
