Learn the art of painting watercolor poppies, daisies, roses, peonies, lavender, tulips, various leaves, and more!

In this dynamic introductory watercolor floral course, we delve into the essentials of watercolor techniques, must-have supplies, color theory and mixing, foundational leaf and petal strokes, and crafting a simple floral wreath.

We’re hosting this workshop inside The Shack, the local ice cream shop I recently took over in Larkspur. To celebrate, your ticket includes one free ice cream after class, your choice of cup or cone. Paint first, scoop second.

The course fee is $225 per person, with all supplies included for you to take home.

If you prefer to bring your own supplies, simply purchase the "Bring Your Own Supplies" ticket during checkout.

Material List:

• Synthetic squirrel round brush (size 4 or 6)

• 140lb cold press watercolor paper pad (Blick Studio, Fabriano, Arches, Baohong)

• Artist-grade watercolor paints (warm and cool primaries (Red, Yellow, Blue), optional: earth colors (raw umber, yellow ochre, burnt sienna)

• Watercolor palette

Throughout the class, I will provide a range of watercolor supplies for experimentation, offer product recommendations, and address any questions to help you assemble your own watercolor starter kit. This is a fantastic opportunity to test and compare different brands without purchasing them all. Engage in this interactive class with hands-on guidance, where students are encouraged to ask questions at any time. Limited to 6 students.

Returning students will work on refining their strokes and compositions while beginners follow the step-by-step curriculum.

Class Minimum: A minimum of 3 students is required for the class to proceed. If the class is canceled, you will be notified at least seven days in advance. Participants will have the option to register for a future class within 6 months of the original registration.

Refund Policy: This class is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please do so at least one week in advance. Rescheduling within one week of the class will incur a $50 fee. Due to high demand, cancellations can be costly for us. Thank you for your understanding.

Your ticket can be transferred to another participant for up to one week in advance of the class. Any transfers of tickets must be approved by Catherine Gunarso at hello@everlacedesignco.com
